Explosive-laden motorbikes seized in Helmand

AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Monday said that three motorcycles full of explosives were discovered and confiscated in the southern Helmand province.

In a statement issued here, the NDS said that its operatives managed to discover and seize the motorbikes full of explosives through an operation in Nadali district and Lashkargah city.

In the other hand, the intelligence operatives killed four Taliban insurgents in a face to face conflict in Shina Kelai area of the Nadali district, the statement added.

Two AK-47 rifles and some explosives were discovered and confiscated in the village as well, noted the statement.
