KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai expressed sorrow over the demise of Pashto poet Nasim Raz.

Karzai said in a statement that late Raz served Pashto language and literature and left around 50 literary works in Pashto.

The former president called Raz’s death a tragedy and wished paradise for him and patience for his family and friends.
