KABUL: The ministry of public health reported 51 confirmed cases of covid-19 with additional fatalities of two deaths within the past 24 hours.
The tally was recorded out of 348 suspected samples in laboratories across the country, the ministry said in a statement on Sunday. The total number of cases in the country surpasses 155,072.
Durig one last day, 24 patients were recovered, bringing the total tally of recoveries to around 123,664. The death number reached 7,200 people. This comes as due to recent political changes in Afghanistan, the health centers are scrambling with the shortage of medical supplies and products.
