Kabul: The former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, met with Mr. Takashi Okada, the ambassador of Japan to Afghanistan.
In this meeting, in addition to discussing the good relations between the two countries, Hamid Karzai praised Japan’s efforts in the reconstruction of Afghanistan and the country’s efforts to strengthen peace and stability.
Referring to current situation in Afghanistan the former president also called intra-Afghan dialogue and the reopening of girls’ schools as vital issues for the country’s stability and growth.
