Kabul: The recent floods in Afghanistan have destroyed numerous water systems, as reported by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF). UNICEF Afghanistan announced on X that many families are facing difficulties in accessing sufficient clean water for drinking, cooking, and bathing. In response, UNICEF is delivering water to these communities daily, supplying 15 liters per person to over 22,000 individuals. Afghanistan’s northern and northeastern provinces have been particularly affected by severe flash floods recently.
