AT News – The Government of Pakistan has decided to issue one-year multiple-entry visas for Afghan drivers and transporters.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Kabul announced on its official X (formerly Twitter) page that the visa fee for this category is 100 USD. With this visa, Afghan drivers and transporters can enter Pakistan multiple times within a year.
The embassy has also shared a link on its page through which applicants can apply for this type of visa.
According to the announcement, applicants are required to upload a photograph, scanned copy of their passport, Tazkira (national ID), valid Temporary Admission Document (TAD), an employment letter from a registered transport company or an authority letter from a transport operator, and a valid driver’s license as part of the application process.
Meanwhile, some Afghan citizens have reported that obtaining a Pakistani visa has become somewhat difficult for Afghan applicants.
They are urging the Government of Pakistan to ease the visa issuance process for Afghans.
