COVID-19: 62 new cases, four deaths reported in last 24 hours

KABUL: Afghanistan has recorded 62 new cases of coronavirus and four deaths across the country in the past 24 hours, said the Ministry of Public Health on Monday.

The total tally since the outbreak of the epidemic has reached 56,384 cases.

The news cases were reported out of 1,824 suspected samples tested during the same period of time.

Another 653 patients have fully recovered from the virus at the same time.

The total recoveries have exceeded to 50,666 and the deaths to 2,476 since the outbreak of the pandemic started in the country.
