KABUL: The ex-President Hamid Karzai donated $50,000 to facilitate scholarships for talented Afghan youth.

Hamid Karzai returned home the other day after a 5-day visit to Australia. Karzai was invited by Young President Organization to deliver a speech in a conference.

The Afghan ex-president in his speech shed light on Afghanistan’s situation over the past 13 years. He also discussed support of the international community to Afghanistan.

The Young President Organization presented a gift of $50,000 to Hamid Karzai. He donated the amount to facilitate scholarships for talent students.

Hamid Karzai also attended a gathering of Afghans in Melbourne city of Australia. He briefed them on the current situation of Afghanistan.
