AT-KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai “strongly” condemned the suicide attack in Kabul city as well as the foreign airstrike in the Haska Mina district in the eastern province of Nangarhar.

“The former president termed such attacks that cause martyrdom and injury of civilians and damage of residential and public areas against all humanitarian and Islamic norms,” Karzai’s office said Monday. Karzai also blamed the “enemies” of peace in Afghanistan for carrying out such attacks.

He wished paradise for the martyrs and quick recovery for the injured.
