AT-KABUL: The ex-President Hamid Karzai, President Ashraf Ghani and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah offered Fatiha for the departed soul of Farkhunda, a 27-year old woman who was lynched by a mob in Kabul around three weeks ago.

An angry mob beat Farkhunda to death after falsely accusing her of burning copies of Holy Quran.

Hamid Karzai extended his condolences to the bereaved family of Farkhunda and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest her deceased soul in eternal peace.
