AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Thursday said that leader of kidnapping gang has been detained in the capital city, Kabul.
In a press statement issued here, the NDS said that its operatives succeeded in arresting Zaki alias Pahlawan Zaki Dako, the kingpin of kidnapping gang and his friend Nesar Ahmad.
According to the media statement, the intelligence agency conducted a special operation in Kabul to arrest the kingpin, who was also involved in armed robberies. Zaki was allegedly involved in 21 cases of murder, kidnapping and armed robbery in different parts of Kabul.
The suspect confessed to his crimes.
