AT-KABUL: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Saturday said that nine terrorists arrested in southern Kandahar province.

Nine terrorists nabbed through an operation by intelligence operatives in the city of Kandahar province, said NDS.

The captured rebels were involved to different subversive and terrorist activities in Kabul-Kandahar highway.

The indicts had assassinated tribal elders and governmental staffs in Shahwali Kot, Khakriz and Maiwand districts as well as collected alms and tenth forcedly from people in Kandahar province.

Detained insurgents submitted to judicial organs for further inquiry.
