Kabul: The Afghanistan Ministry of Public Works announced that heavy snowfall in Badakhshan provinces has blocked the roads in four districts of this province.
According to Ministry’s the roads to Arghanchkhah, Raghistan, Kohistan and Yavan districts of this province are currently blocked.
On Sunday, this ministry announced that the country’s highways will be opened to traffic in both directions, but the communication routes of some districts in Badakhshan and Bamyan are blocked.
In Bamyan Province, only the Diwali Plain – Punjab Bazaar road in the vicinity of Kotal Shatu is closed to traffic due to heavy snowfall, but the rest of the roads in that province are open for vehicles to pass through.
