KABUL: Taliban fighters have blocked all the roads to the Azra district of Logar province, pressuring residents with a fully besiege, residents and officials said.

Residents said on Friday that besiege has caused foodstuff prices doubled, while they are also facing health problems as the roads to medical facilities are blocked.

Provincial officials say that efforts were underway to reopen the roads and end besiege through middling of tribal elders.
