Taliban’s shadow deputy governor for Ghazni among 10 killed

AT-KABUL: The Taliban’s shadow deputy government for Ghazni province was among 10 militants killed in a military operation in the province, said an official source.

A press statement issued by the provincial police headquarters said that security forces launched an operation in Speen Band area of Aab Band district the other night. As result of operation, security force killed 10 insurgents, including the Taliban’s deputy government for Ghazni, and wounded seven others. It added that three Pakistani militants were among those killed in the operation.

There were no casualties to Afghan forces during the clashes, the statement said.
