KABUL: Former President, Hamid Karzai expressed regrets over the demise of prominent journalist, writer and human and women’s rights activist Qamara Achakzai Wakili.

Karzai said that Ms. Wakili served the people of Afghanistan as a teacher, journalist and government employee, and wrote several valuable articles.

Karzai called her death a tragedy and wished paradise for her and patience for her family and friends.
